Based at London College of Fashion’s central site near Oxford Circus, 20 John Prince’s Street, you will be working in the Content Production team. You will be creating video content against internally commissioned briefs in line with the aspirations and aesthetic requirements of the College Internal and External Relations team, as well as academic stakeholders throughout the College and University.

You will apply a high level of skill drawn from your experience within a digital filmmaking background. You will provide inward facing guidance and advice to students and staff working within the College and University in alignment with College and the University operating plans.

As a member of the Content Production team you will work across the six London College of Fashion campus sites filming graduate shows, exhibitions, performance art, seminars and VIP lectures as well as engaging with a wide range of documentary and learning video projects.

Content Production team members are encouraged to engage in practice-led research into emerging technologies, practices and techniques.

You will liaise with and report to the Learning Technology Support Manager and the Learning Technology Support Coordinator, Internal and External Relations team, and Events team for operationally devolved responsibilities and to ensure that the service user experience meets the College and University’s defined professional and quality standards.

Your profile

We are looking for a talented cinematographer who has developed a keen understanding of the visual language and aesthetic required to create material of a commercial standard. You will need a solid background in producing content in a wide variety of formats to a defined creative brief, including documentary, marketing / promo and learning content.

You will be required to be flexible with your work time arrangements in order to capture ad-hoc events that occur out of normal working hours.

You will work with the College Internal and External Relations team, academics, students and technicians to create material with a distinct visual style for an international audience.

Experience working as part of a production team is vital for the successful applicant, as is a professional aptitude for the use of Digital filmmaking equipment.
