Teacher of History
This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of History to join a thriving History and Politics Department within an historic and successful independent day school for girls.
In this key role, you will teach History at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level, and Government & Politics at A Level, facilitating the highest levels of attainment and promoting high standards of teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with qualified teacher status or the equivalent gained through experience with excellent subject knowledge. The ability to teach politics may be beneficial, but not essential.
The History and Politics Department at Streatham and Clapham High School
History is a popular subject at the School. Visits to museums and galleries are organised to support the curriculum and to make the most of the opportunities that London offers. The History and Politics Department offers enrichment activities through a newly-launched History and Politics Society, annual magazine, as well as the school’s Kinza programme.
