University of the Arts London: Projects Officer
UAL Awarding Body is expanding. To meet strong demand from the sectors we serve we are recruiting to a number of new posts across a range of job functions and roles. The role of Project Officer (Qualification Development) is one of these new posts. The successful candidate will likely have a proven track record working either in an awarding body, sector skills council or in the Further or Higher Education sectors.
Working closely with the other Project Officer, your job is to provide project and administrative support in the development of new projects and services, ensuring that all new projects are properly planned, managed efficiently and delivered on-time and within budget.

This role is your opportunity to shape creative arts education within schools, colleges and higher education providers.
Degree educated or with an equivalent professional qualification, you’ll have an understanding and keen interest in vocational education. You’re also likely to have knowledge and understanding of the General Conditions of Recognition (GCR) by our regulatory Ofqual and will have some experience of qualification development, assessment or delivery. Knowledge of performance tables, quality-assuring units of assessment is not essential but desirable.
You will also need to have excellent communications skills to be able to report and feedback to stakeholders. You should also be able to use word processing and spreadsheet applications confidently. You should be able to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail, and excel at analysing, interpreting and presenting complex information and data.
