We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of all student tuition fees due to the College and to guarantee that all income due to the College is identified and recorded promptly and accurately.


As Finance Manager, you will oversee the ongoing reconciliation of student accounts, ensuring that they are a complete and accurate record of transactions and that all income is correctly allocated and debts are minimised. Acting as a first point of contact for all fee-related and online payments enquiries and providing a high level of customer service to students and colleagues across the University, you will ensure the University is both transparent and accountable in the way it deals with its customers.

You will identify ways in which our systems can remain dynamic and continue to be fit for purpose and will assist with the development of procedures and technology to manage these activities.

Your profile

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of reconciling complex financial records and resolving fees and funding issues, of debtors management and credit control within an HE environment. You will have experience of using a finance management information system and students record system and possess relevant experience in the financial management of various income streams, working independently without direct supervision.

Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential and you should enjoy working in a busy collaborative work environment. A qualification in the area of credit control is desirable.
