Policy Advocate
Salary: £24,000 (Pay Scale 6)
Formed in October 2008, we aim to be the strongest advocacy body in the history of the UK consumer movement – influencing policy and practice across the UK, as well as at European and international levels and ensuring that all consumers get a fair deal.
As a Policy Advocate, you will support the development of policy to improve outcomes for consumers, support consumer interests and reduce consumer detriment within your programme’s remit. You will be responsible for delivering agreed individual projects and work plans on time and to budget. Under the supervision of a Senior Policy Advocate, you will also assist with research and communications.
As well as being committed to championing consumers, you are likely to have experience within a role that focuses on the development of policy, policy implementation, and/or policy advocacy. In any case, you will require:
