Interim Director (14-19 Programme)

Location: Coventry / Warwick

Salary: c. £70,000 plus final salary pension and 31.5 days holiday

Are you passionate about raising achievement in 14-19?

We are interested in hearing from education professionals with experience of working within government departments, national agencies, local government, colleges or schools to spearhead the next phase of a major national initiative. Specifically, your core role will be to work with policy teams in DCSF, BIS, national partners and membership organisations to develop a programme of support which will ensure that the effective use of technology helps to deliver the national objectives for RPA (Raising of the Participation Age) and the 14 to 19 reforms.

We are seeking an education professional with an interest in exploiting developments in technology for the benefit of learners and with experience of working on the national stage. Ideally, you will offer some experience in developing and implementing national policy / programmes. The role will involve working with senior figures in Whitehall, in the national agencies and with school and college leaders.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your wealth of experience in driving forward a major national initiative which will help raise achievement within 14-19.

The contract will be offered initially for a fixed term of one year and is also available as a secondment opportunity. In addition to the salary offered, benefits include 31.5 days holiday and final-salary pension.
