Salary: To £57,300 plus final salary pension and 31.5 days holiday

Becta is the government agency leading the national drive to ensure the effective and innovative use of technology throughout learning. It leads on a number of high-profile national programmes, such as Home Access, to deliver systemic improvement in aiding learning through the use of technology.
As our Head of Strategy, Performance & Planning, you will be at the heart of the way the organisation plans and measures its performance and outcomes. Your main priority will be to lead and monitor the annual planning process, including preparation of strategic plans, against which performance will be monitored. You will develop KPIs, financial and non-financial, and ensure the organisation has processes in place to capture and report on them.
For this challenging and exciting role, in which you will lead a small team, you will require experience of working in a large and complex organisation, whether gained within the public or private sector.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to implement improvements which have helped an organisation to achieve its strategic priorities in some or all of the following areas: corporate strategy, business planning and performance management.
Your consultative style will inspire trust and confidence at all levels, which will enable you to create strong networks across the organisation and challenge the status quo.
In addition to the salary offered, benefits include 31.5 days holiday and final-salary pension.
