Salary: c. £47,369 plus final salary pension and 31.5 days holiday

Becta is the government agency leading the national drive to ensure the effective and innovative use of technology throughout learning. It leads on a number of high-profile national programmes, such as Home Access, to deliver systemic improvement in aiding learning through the use of technology.
As Head of Organisational Improvement for FE and Skills, you will have a central role in ensuring that technology is fully exploited in order to drive whole organisational improvement.
Specifically, this position will involve leading on activities and programmes to enable e-maturity targets to be achieved; representation on a number of national groups to achieve sector-wide consensus; expanding and embedding existing products and services (ie Generator, Technology Exemplar Network and Next Generation Learning Awards), as well as leading the development of new products and services to support system-wide adoption of technology for learners across FE and Skills.
For this highly influential role, we would like to hear from you if you have significant management experience within the FE and Skills sector with a track record of achieving and managing change, organisational development and continuous improvement in line with corporate objectives. Ideally, your experience will include designing and leading large-scale initiatives and programmes of work whose objectives are to exploit the benefits of technology in teaching/training in the FE and Skills sector.
In addition to the salary offered, benefits include 31.5 days holiday and final-salary pension.
