Salary: c. £70,000 plus final salary pension and 31.5 days holiday

Becta is the government agency leading the national drive to ensure the effective and innovative use of technology throughout learning. It leads on a number of high-profile national programmes, such as Home Access, to deliver systemic improvement in aiding learning through the use of technology.
As Finance Director, you will lead a team of 10 and will be a key member of the management team with over-arching responsibility for the financial services that support the organisation in the effective delivery of its programmes and wider corporate activity.
For this pivotal role, you are likely to be familiar with public sector accounting procedures and governance, whether gained within an NDPB, NHS, local or central government. As well as a recognised accounting qualification, you will have excellent communication skills, with the proven ability to negotiate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders. A commitment to working collaboratively and providing first class customer service is also key.
In addition to the salary offered, benefits include 31.5 days holiday and final-salary pension.
